Luis Moroney
My last name is Moroney. I am Hispanic from Nicaragua. My Great grandfather was an Irishman named Robert Moroney. that is all I know about him. He was a captain of a boat or ship or something of the sort. I think that is how he got to Nicaragua somehow. Well I know this. "Ireland was Ireland when England was a pupp. Ireland will still be ireland when England's time is up."

I got ye'r email today and it made me smile. I remember in the old, old times, "Jerry's" being an all male bar.
The only time I was ever in there was to haul my uncle Frank out before he got sober. But every day I saw Mr. Moroney walk his dogs and knew all was right with the world. I have great memories of growing up in the market among all the family businesses.I am glad to know that the business has remained in the family and look forward to coming in and having a jar with y'all when I'm over this Summer. Maybe we can persuade Mikey Hanna to come down for old time sake, for a session!
Good luck and God Bless, Maura O'Connell.
